The Colts Show What They’re Made Of

Got a question for you folks out here: y’all ever watched a game that ends up reminding you of why you fell in love with the sport?

Today’s game performance of the Colts displayed a combination of heart, fight, and pure Nap Town.  During pregame warmups, Anthony Richardson suffered an orbital eye fracture, causing things to look bad and meek.

But as the old saying goes, “next man up”, and that’s exactly what it was for the Colts. Now we already know DJ had shown that the Colts could count on him from early season play; today was just another showing of his ability to be trusted.

Daniel Jones would complete 22 out of 30 passing attempts, which would be paired with 200+ passing yards and two scores.

Now when it came to the running back play of the Colts, Jonathan Taylor reminded folks why he’s dependable and reliable when it matters. Broken tackles, fighting for every yard and inch, and to put the cherry on top, Taylor would score the go-ahead touchdown late in the fourth.

Standing tall is just what the defense did in key critical moments of the game. Now the Colts may have given up points and yards, but when it mattered most, they showed up.

Former Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett may have thrown for 320 yards, but the Colts would prove strong three separate times in the red zone. And we can’t forget that critical fourth down stop that helped seal the deal.

Next week, the Colts will face off against the red-hot Jaguars of Jacksonville on the road. Both teams are red-hot up to this point of the season and are going to keep the streaks hot!

The Colts as a fan base have been through enough as of late, wouldn’t you say? Colts Nation is hungry for that playoff spot!

Game Stats ⬇️

D. Jones: 22/30 212 (3 total td’s)

J. Taylor: 21 123 yards 1td
