I mean, did Alex Pereira pretty much be a visual of the Drake hit song, “what did I miss?”

Because let’s be real here, he came back in the rematch better than ever it seems like 🤣. I mean, like the announcers said, the sheer difference between this fight and the first one clearly shows that Alex was hurt or something in the first fight.

No time wasted, straight to the point was just that with Alex landing 28 of 45 significant strikes, which ends up being a solid 62%.

In four years, he’s been in 12 UFC fights, winning 10 of them, also all the while being in eight straight title fights. That’s an average of three fights a year if you break it down, and he’s only gone the distance in two of his fights.

Some could say a third fight between Alex and Ankalaev, but after the way their rematch ended, who would truly want to see that? At this point, Alex can do whatever it is that he so chooses and rightfully so.
