All Hail The Louisville Kings 👑

Today was a day for sports fans in the city of Louisville, Kentucky. Folks like Michael Repole, Russ Brandon, Eric Wood, and several others took to the podium.


We were all in attendance for the introductory press conference of the 502’s newest   professional sports team. The Louisville Kings, one of the newest UFL teams, planted its roots.


Around 100 folks from the media, board members, and more were in attendance for this special occasion. ESPN-Lou VP Drew Deener Mc’d the whole thing and started it off by introducing Mayor Craig Greenberg.


Louisville has had a history in the past of professional football teams, with the likes of the Louisville Fire and the Louisville Xtreme. The Louisville Kings becomes the city’s third professional football team.


League owner Michael Repole brings years of successful business acumen to the forefront in the UFL. From ventures like Vitamin & Smart Water, to Body Armor, to pirate booty and more.


Michael’s love for the city of Louisville and the state of Kentucky runs deep, with his heavy involvement in the horse racing industry. Michael also owns “Repole Stable”.


Former Louisville Cardinal and first-round NFL draft pick Eric Wood also spoke at the podium. Eric will most definitely be involved with the process of growing the Louisville Kings franchise.


The 2026 UFL season is set to kickoff on March 27th with teams in the following cities:


.) Louisville

.) Arlington

.) Columbus

.) DC

.) Houston

.) Memphis

.) St. Louis

.) Birmingham


The Kings will without a doubt have to hit the ground running as they will soon be on the hunt for a head coach, coaching staff, and players.
